Topic description

In this topic, students will have the opportunity to synthesise the knowledge and skills that they have acquired from their BA, and to complete an ePortfolio of these skills to help them develop their pre-professional and post-graduation identities. Students will have the opportunity to apply their university study to a range of real-life experiences and contexts, and will be encouraged to consider how they will apply their skills and knowledge in local, national, and international scenarios.

Educational aims

This topic aims to provide students with the opportunity to synthesise the knowledge and skills they have acquired throughout their BA, and apply them to a range of real-life experiences and contexts including in local, national, and international scenarios.

Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to able to:

  1. Evaluate how their employability skills apply to career pathways across multiple sectors
  2. Appraise connections between their BA study and opportunities to perform as informed and engaged citizens in local and global contexts
  3. Persuade a wider audience of their effective capacity to use initiative, enterprise, and communication skills
  4. Plan and manage work, while interacting with a range of people in professional contexts
