On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:
- Demonstrate a broad knowledge of normal human physiology for understanding pathophysiological processes
- Outline the basic physiological processes that underpin human diseases
- Explain the logical pathophysiological process of how a disease leads to a particular symptom
- Search and critically analyse scientific literatures relevant to diseases
