NURS7000A Honours Thesis (9/18 units)

This topic is taught and assessed as a continuum.

This topic aims for the student to demonstrate their understanding of research and have the skills necessary to conduct a study in an area of their interest.

1. Pose and refine a worthwhile research question
2. Perform a literature search and manage the literature that is collected
3. Critically review the literature
4. Develop a research proposal
5. Prepare an ethics application addressing all considerations in the research process if relevant
6. Select a research method that will answer their research question
7. Collect and analyse data, present the findings and defend the conclusions/recommendations of the research
8. Construct a thesis
