Topic description

This topic provides students with practical skills in writing and research communication for their current and future research practice. It will cover several domains of research communication and translation. These include: abstracts, research presentations, manuscript preparation, thesis preparation, media communication, and translation into practice.

Educational aims

This topic aims to:

  • Prepare students for a variety of effective methods to communicate research to a broad audience
  • Promote an understanding of the different avenues and formats for research communication, translation, and impact
