Topic description

This topic is about how the English language works. It aims to familiarise students with the structure of English, increase their awareness of the function of English, and create a basic understanding of how English works for the purposes of classroom practice.

This topic aims to:

  • Familiarise students with the structure of the English language
  • Increase students' awareness of the function of English
  • Create a basic understanding of the how English works for the purpose for classroom practice
  • Develop a critical approach to own and others teaching of English
