SCME9010 has been successfully completed

Students will write, pitch and begin pre-production on an 8-15 minute project to be produced in SCME9001. Through independent study, film screenings and students will research appropriate projects for the major production project.

Students will meet regularly with their supervisor who will provide feedback on the script and production process. The projects will be pitched to screen production students who will form the crew for the project. Students will develop a suitable script as the basis for the major project.

This topic aims to:

allow students to display advanced research and/or production skills
allow students to further develop their understanding of the screen production industry
provide students with opportunities to explore new areas of the study of screen and media production

On completion of this topic students will have:

further developed skills in a range of research activities
the ability to communicate research and/or production skills and knowledge via written communication/assessment
advanced written communication or production skills
the skills to identify key issues in a specialised area of research and/or production
an extended understanding of screen and media theory and production
