Topic description
In this topic students will develop specialised knowledge in various approaches and strategies for increasing engagement and enhancing the learner experience in diverse health education settings.
Educational aims
The aim of this topic is for students to develop specialised knowledge, understanding and skills to design and implement teaching and learning strategies that enhance the learner experience in diverse health education settings.
Expected learning outcomes
On successful completion of the topic students will be able to:
- evaluate learning and teaching approaches that increase student engagement and enhance the learner experience,
- evaluate and use various technologies in supporting student learning,
- perform a learning needs assessment for one or more learners,
- apply learning and teaching approaches to meet learning needs,
- provide student feedback to enhance learning,
- design and conduct a peer evaluation of teaching.
