Topic description

This topic provides an opportunity for students to consolidate their postgraduate study and extend their learning into professional practice and work place settings. It is designed to challenge and grow the student's higher level communication, dissemination and critical thinking abilities by developing and completing a field of study that is relevant and is of interest to the individual student.

Educational aims

This topic aims to provide students with the opportunity to:

  • Consolidate and critically review their own postgraduate learning to apply a capstone experience to their clinical/workplace setting
  • Extend and deepen their analytical and strategic thinking
  • Develop networks and linkages with industry, professional bodies, their workplace setting or consumer groups
  • Consolidate and develop higher level communication and dissemination skills (written, interpersonal, professional presentation or publication)
