This topic will aid the development of skills required for advanced and flexible practice of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), using the student's experience during their first placement and other case studies as a way of learning about the difficulties in the application of CBT. It will also examine the use of CBT with a range of problems, and clinical disorders, and comorbidities. The topic will be delivered in such a way as to promote guided discovery and use of CBT skills, using the framework of a CBT session.
