Topic description

This topic provides strategies for ethical decision making and for the teaching of ethics. It demonstrates how existing curriculum can be used as a vehicle for learning ethics and developing ethical analysis and judgment. In addition, it examines professional ethics as applied to teachers, leaders, and education policy makers. This topic will be of interest to students who wish to examine a selection of the following issues and related challenges: moral education, values education, curriculum development, organisational and management responsibilities, accountability, professional ethics.
