Topic description

In this topic students will create work that expresses story and place, with a level of mastery. Practical exercises will continue to push the synthesis of form, colour, shape, line, and story.

Educational aims

This topic aims to:

  • Provide students with the opportunity to explore uses of visual language
  • Allow students to demonstrate their understanding of complex shading and visual relationships
  • Provide opportunities for students to get practical and personal feedback on individual works
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

  1. Interpret realistic industrial project briefs
  2. Discuss artworks using industry specific terms
  3. Distinguish between different industrial level digital art programs
  4. Explain design theory in reference to specific works
