Topic description

This topic will provide Creative Arts students with the professional practice skills required to complete major creative works in collaboration. Encouraging collaboration across a wide range of creative practices, including but not limited to digital media, film and television, interactive games, writing, and theatre and performance. This topic will support students through the various stages of creating major works. These stages include project and team development, pitching proposals, progressive and responsive growth of a project, and presentation of creative works. This topic encourages multidisciplinary works that reflect the dynamic nature of today’s creative industries, aiming to give you a visionary edge in your future career.

Educational aims

This topic aims to introduce students to the skills required to complete collaborative creative works.

Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

  1. Create major works through collaborative relationships with creative practitioners from different disciplines
  2. Produce and summarise written, oral and creative pitches
  3. Integrate professional knowledge into their own creative practice
  4. Develop and compose a major creative work
