Topic description
This topic is to allow a visiting scholar in international law or international relations to offer a specialised course in a current issue in international law or international relations.
Educational aims
This topic aims to:

  • develop a broader understanding of a current issue in international law or international relations

  • allow an in depth study of a topic that is in the specific research expertise of the lecturer
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic students will be able to:

  • describe and provide an analytical overview of the philosophical and legal bases the specific issue in international law and international relations

  • describe and apply academic literature relevant to this issue

  • offer a critique of the concepts contained within this issue
