Topic description
This topic is to allow a visiting scholar in international law or international relations to offer a specialised course in a current issue in international law or international relations.
Educational aims
This topic aims to:
- develop a broader understanding of a current issue in international law or international relations
- allow an in depth study of a topic that is in the specific research expertise of the lecturer
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic students will be able to:
- describe and provide an analytical overview of the philosophical and legal bases the specific issue in international law and international relations
- describe and apply academic literature relevant to this issue
- offer a critique of the concepts contained within this issue
