Make sure you carry your student ID card with you whenever you are on campus. You will need it to:
- borrow books from the library
- use credit required for photocopying and printing
- attend examinations
- obtain an academic transcript
- benefit from student transport concessions and discounts at businesses (including those on campus)
- access Flinders University buildings
- attend student-organised functions.

Your student ID card can be requested online or from Flinders Connect once you have enrolled at Flinders University. If you have recently enrolled (in the last hour) there may be a delay before you can request an ID card.
You can choose to collect your ID card, 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday, (9:30am - 5pm, Wednesday) from Flinders Connect (Level 0, Central Library) or if you elect to have your card posted it will be sent to the preferred mailing address you have recorded in the Student System.
Replacing a student ID card
To replace a lost or stolen card, you will need to pay $10 via Flinders Online Payments and choose to have your card posted to you or to collect it from Flinders Connect. Please bring your receipt with you if you choose to collect your card.
If your student ID card is damaged and requires replacing, please present the old card to Flinders Connect for a replacement free of charge.
Enrolment stickers for student ID cards
Continuing students who need an expiry sticker to update their student ID card can obtain them from Flinders Connect (Level 0, Central Library) or the Enrolment Support Centre, located adjacent to Flinders Connect, when open during enrolment.
Flinders University staff must have a current record on the University's Human Resource system in order to obtain a staff ID card.
New staff can collect their staff ID card at Flinders Connect, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (9:30am - 5pm, Wednesday). Please allow 15 minutes for processing. Staff need to present current proof of identification and a letter of introduction from their school or division before a card can be issued.
