Biography

Keryn Williams is an NHMRC Principal Research Fellow in the Department of Ophthalomology and Associate Dean (Research) within the Faculty of Health Sciences.  A graduate of the University of Melbourne, she undertook postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford UK, where she first developed a career-long interest in transplantation immunobiology. On returning to Australia, she began to work in the eye.  She is the scientific director of the Australian Corneal Graft Registry and maintains research interests in corneal transplantation, novel drugs and devices for ophthalmic use, and aberrant ocular angiogenesis.
