Miriam Keane is a researcher within the Department on Ophthalmology, working on the Australian Corneal Graft Registry and on evaluating the published evidence relating to various treatments for the corneal disease keratoconus.
Her background is in psychology and her PhD was completed in the Department of General Practice. This research looked at the impact of new Medicare Item numbers relating to primary mental health care, in rural areas of South Australia.
