My main research interest is in how individuals make uncertainty and confidence judgments. Projects include judgments of confidence by eyewitnesses who guess and confidence effects on memory conformity among multiple eyewitnesses following discussion. In addition, I have an interest in mood and emotions (including emotional intelligence) and uncertainty orientation in decision-processes.

Project title: Investigating strategies of emotion recognition in individuals with autism
Potential PhD Projects:
(1) grain-size reports in memory conformity involving memory blends
(2) the effects of delays in recall and/or exposure to misleading post-event information on misinformation reports
(3) the role of metacognitive monitoring of emotion recognition ability in social skills in those with Autism Spectrum Disorders
