Topic description
SPTH7000A Honours Thesis A and SPTH7000B Honours Thesis B are taught and assessed as a continuum and students must undertake both in the same academic year.

Students will develop practical research skills and knowledge in a designated research area within speech pathology, audiology, linguistics, psychology, physiology or a related discipline by conducting an honours project, leading to the submission of a thesis.
Educational aims
This topic aims to prepare graduates who will be critical consumers of research, and who will be able to design, conduct, and write up a research project themselves. It will provide knowledge and skills relevant to conducting research, especially for entry to higher degree courses, and develop an advanced level of knowledge in the area of specialisation. It will also further develop verbal and written skills relevant to advanced studies.
