Topic description
Educational aims
This topic will provide an introductory scientific basis to the overall field and profession of exercise science. This will be done to give students the opportunity to gain an insight in to each sub discipline (biomechanics, behavioural science, motor control and learning, and physiology) of exercise science and how basic science underpins the study of exercise science. The topic will describe at a basic level the important scientific aspects of professional practice in exercise science thereby setting a contextual framework for study of other topics within Bachelor of Exercise Science.
