Topic description
In this topic students will work on individual and group project to produce a piece of interactive media suitable for submission to competitions and events. Each student will be required to contribute unique content, as determined by the group at the commencement of the project, and will be required to work collaboratively to see the piece through to production.
Educational aims
This topic aims to:

  • Develop students collaborative skills in developing interactive media
  • Provide students with the opportunity to work to current technical standards
  • Provide students with the opportunity to exhibit their work in a public arena
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic students will be able to:

  • reflect on their progress from project initiation to completion
  • articulate the strengths and weaknesses of their project design
  • communicate technical and creative aspects of their practice to a non-specialist audience
