Topic description
In this topic students focus on a specific project outcome and work through their required pipeline to produce a finished production piece. Initiation, planning, and execution are all explored while students complete projects designed to provide links to post-study applications of their skills.
Educational aims
This topic aims to:
- provide students with space to fully construct production pieces to a specified standard, or for a specific purpose
- assist students to understand the full complexity of working to a professional brief
- provide students individual work that has a life beyond the classroom.
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic students will be able to:
- analyse the larger contexts and environments in which their work will sit
- communicate complex ideas visually, within a specific context
- articulate their skills, both visually and verbally, to both the general public, and industry representatives
