Topic description
This topic aims to explore contemporary theoretical debates surrounding the concept of 'feminist knowledge' and its relationship to other disciplines, and intellectual traditions.
Educational aims
This topic aims to:
- give students an opportunity to engage at an advanced level with contemporary developments in selected areas of feminist theory;
- enable seminar discussion about select areas of feminist theory;
- enhance ability to write concisely about some contemporary developments in feminist theory
Expected learning outcomes
Students who successfully complete this topic will:
- Have engaged in an advanced way with select areas of feminist theory
- Be able to comment verbally on contemporary developments in select areas of feminist theory
- Be able to write clearly and concisely about theoretical debates.
