Topic description
This topic explores advanced issues in metaphysics and epistemology which are of contemporary significance. The particular issues covered will be determined by staff availability.
Educational aims
This topic aims to:
- deepen students' understanding of advanced issues in an area of metaphysics or epistemology of contemporary significance
- develop students' critical reasoning skills
- develop students' oral and written presentation skills
- prepare students for postgraduate study in Philosophy
