A strong background in Philosophy in the area of the thesis
Topic description
Students complete a thesis of approximately 18,000 words under the supervision of a member of the Philosophy staff. The thesis topic must be approved by the Philosophy Honours coordinator.
Educational aims
This topic aims to:

  • deepen students' understanding of a key area of Philosophy

  • improve students' critical reasoning

  • improve students' oral and written communication skills

  • prepare students to undertake postgraduate study in Philosophy
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic students will:
