Topic description

"The secret to editing your work is simple: you need to become its reader instead of its writer." - Zadie Smith.

Take your writing to the next level in this second-year workshop. This topic, conducted weekly in two-hour blocks, allows second-year Bachelor of Creative Arts (Creative Writing) students to focus on individual projects in an intensive workshop environment. Students develop their editing skills, practise oral presentation, and are given the opportunity to work collaboratively with each other. In addition, they will develop their understanding of genre and advanced writing strategies through practical exercises.
