Topic description

All students are required to prepare an audition package for entry into the profession.

Educational aims

This topic aims to:

  • Develop an understanding of professional rehearsal techniques and practices as used in the theatre, television, and film industries
  • Apply performance techniques in acting and directing to a production context
  • Give students the experience of working in front of a live audience in a variety of different performance venues
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:
