Topic description

This topic will explore contemporary theory and practice in environmental management. It aims to equip students with an understanding of some central issues associated with the social nature of environmental management and to refine student knowledge and skills required to deal with environmental issues in the community.

Educational aims

This topic aims to:

  • Equip the student with an understanding of some central issues associated with the social nature of environmental management
  • Add to and refine the knowledge and skills students have and will require to deal with environmental issues in the community
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

  1. Demonstrate an understanding of some key issues in contemporary theory and practice of environmental management
