Topic description

This topic addresses two major aspects of applied psychology, namely assessment and interventions. Students learn about basic psychological assessment strategies in situations relevant to psychological practice, and principles relating the construction, cultural considerations, implementation, and interpretation of psychological measures. The topic also covers general psychological interventions, both preventative strategies and treatments, to promote mental, physical, and social health in a broad range of contexts.

  • Promote and safeguard wellbeing
