The Pre Masters Information Technology Program has been carefully designed to provide you with a valid pathway and practical skills to enter our Masters programs and progress well during your Masters degree. 

Over the 7-week program, we'll provide you with rigorous preparation in the English language, and foundation knowledge in key information technology subjects such as computer programming, artificial intelligence, and industry standards and methods.

Modules you will study: 

• English Core - Academic English Advancement
• Fundamentals of computer programming
• Fundamentals of artificial intelligence
• Basic statistical methods
• ICT standards in professionalism, ethics and communication 
  

If you successfully complete the Pre Masters Information Technology Program, Flinders University will guarantee your entry directly into the following degrees: 

• Master of Information Technology
• Master of Information Technology (Network and Cybersecurity Systems)
• Master of Computer Science
• Master of Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence)

Upon successful completion of the Pre Masters Information Technology Program, you will transfer into your chosen Masters degree straight away. No need to wait until the next study period.

Choose from 3 intakes – January, May or August.

• 12 hours for English –  3 hours per day, 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday
• 8 hours for subject matters – 2 hours a day, 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday

The course involves approximately 20 hours of contact hours per week, and an overall time commitment of about 32 hours per week.
