Learning in a real business setting is highly valued by employers and students alike, and we’ve built our MBA courses around it. Flinders University is well-connected to industry, so our range of internship, placement and project opportunities are the best way to fast-track your career – you could even find yourself in a paid internship as part of the course.
Experience the Advanced Manufacturing Entrepreneurship Program as part of your course. This specialised industry entrepreneurial program is focused on helping small to medium enterprises address business challenges using advanced manufacturing tools and techniques – also known as industry 4.0. It combines the best of the university’s world-class advanced manufacturing and prototyping capabilities with access to academics and researchers, and will feature interactive workshops, coaching, technical support, mentor guidance and more.
The Wine and Tourism Entrepreneurship Program works in two ways: technological acceleration, and technological adoption. Engage with both as part of your MBA, with the program offering intensive acceleration to existing wine and tourism technology companies that are innovative and ready to scale up, and pairing them with businesses who will use their products and services. Our Wine and Tourism Entrepreneurship Program is also intended to speed up technology adoption by wine and tourism businesses by connecting them with more technology solutions.
Graduates of the Master of Business Administration Industry Focused program are competent in the functional areas of business: accounting and finance, human resource management, leadership, marketing, and operations.
You can also choose an industry placement instead of one core topic. And you could also extend your industry exposure by electing to undertake an industry entrepreneurial program: the Wine and Tourism Entrepreneurship Program, or the Advanced Manufacturing Entrepreneurship Program.
You will also undertake a major industry project which will bring together everything you have learnt over the course and put it into practice. Graduates of the Master of Business Administration Future Business program are competent in the functional areas of business: accounting and finance, human resource management, leadership, marketing, and operations.
