Electronic readings (eReadings)
The Library is able to scan and store copies of documents (such as Readings) for topics.
Contact Heidi Ing in the Medical Library on +61-8-82045462 to find out how to put your documents into eReadings.
You can search eReadings by course code, topic code, or by staff name.
Past exam papers
The Library maintains a past exam database which provides easy access for students to view past exams and is replacing the hard copies currently stored in the Library.
The web address for viewing past exams is http://library.flinders.edu.au/resources/eres/exams/
To add your exam papers to the database, either e-mail electronic copies or send good quality hard copies for scanning to Tony.Nicholson@flinders.edu.au , phone+61-8-8201 5214.
Access to databases, journals from off campus
You should be able to access all of the Library's electronic resources on campus using the Library's web page and the link to Information Services.
The Library's Linking to Library Resources web page has information to help determine whether a resource is available off campus.
The Library's Help pages include Common Access Problems and Solutions and How To information.
Be aware that some people experience problems accessing some of these resources from off campus (e.g. home) either because
- the Library's licences for some journals and databases prohibit making them available off campus, or
- some commercial Internet Service Providers (ISPs) do not not provide the software needed to view some types of databases.
Other services
The Information Services section of the library web site has details of library services such as document delivery and book purchase request forms.
