The honours program is where you’ll build upon your existing knowledge and skills to advance your understanding in research principles and methods through structured learning, leading to the planning and completion of a scholarly research project, under supervision from experienced research mentors.
In this 36-unit honours course, you will complete four advanced coursework topics to strengthen your health research and professional skills. Alongside coursework, you will undertake an independent scholarly research project under the supervision of expert researchers and industry advisors.
Your project will be submitted as a research report manuscript, prepared for submission to a peer-reviewed journal, and complemented by an oral presentation, giving you the opportunity to communicate and disseminate your research to real-world audiences. This ensures you graduate with skills that translate directly into professional practice and research.
