The Flinders University Department of Medical Biotechnology is constantly looking for qualified, innovative and motivated people to join us as staff or students.
We have 5 academic staff, 7 professional staff and more than 20 research students - PhD, Masters and Honours, as well as undergraduate teaching programs. It is a research active department with collaborations across the University and around the world with other institutions and industries. Its research spans pharmaceuticals, nutriceuticals and cosmeceuticals, agricultural microbiology and biotechnology, seafood bioprocessing, biofuels and water research and much more!The department has an excellent study and work environment, with state-of-the-art laboratories as well as highly conducive and spacious study environments overlooking Adelaide city. Lecturers and supervisors have won multiple awards for teaching and research achievements. The department encourages scientific and social interaction, publications, further training and attendance at scientific conferences.
