Auditory Processing Disorder Clinic at Flinders University

 

This is a private clinic run by the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology at Flinders University.  We are based in the Flinders Medical Centre.

 

An Auditory Processing Assessment will be carried out by our Audiologist and a Master of Audiology student may be in attendance.  The assessment will take approximately 2 hours.  As APD is a complex condition/disorder we test a number of Auditory Processing Skills.

 

Results will be discussed at the end of the appointment and a formal report will be posted, along with strategies to help manage Auditory Processing Disorder both at school and at home.

 

If required an FM system will be offered free of charge for one school term. Subject to availability.
