The Centre for Marine Bioproducts Development is focussed on the research and development, innovation, education and commercialisation of marine bioprocess technologies and bioproducts.
Our aim is to become a focal point in Australia with these technologies and products for sustainable and profitable seafood and functional foods, marine bioproducts and biomaterials, biomedicine, and marine biofuels industries.
The Centre is the first facility and grouping of expertise of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. It is a bold initiative by Flinders University, one of Australia’s top research universities.
Functioning since 2007, the Centre is about creating collaborations and networks with like-minded researchers and industry partners.
We also host the Australia-New Zealand Marine Biotechnology Society (ANZMBS).
BLUE2GREEN CONVENTION - incorporating this year's ANZMBS conference was held 8-10 August, 2017, in New Zealand.
