Brenton Griffin's research is focused on religious minorities throughout Australia, in particular Mormonism. His PhD was centred on the representations and reactions to Mormonism within Australia and New Zealand, from the 1840s to the present.
His further research interests include religious history, secularisation, religious minorities, and broader social history. He has published both within both academic and broader history related platforms, and has a number of upcoming publications. Brenton has also recently contributed to ABC National Radio Pacific Soul's podcast in relation to his work.
Brenton has worked at Flinders University since 2020. He has broad teaching experience, but is predominantly focused on Australian and global history, Indigenous Studies, and politics.

I have a broad range of teaching interests and experience, including colonial and contemporary Australian history, Indigenous Studies, global history, politics, and Women and Gender Studies.
