With guaranteed on-campus accommodation for international medical students, Flinders is the only South Australian university where students can live and learn on campus.

Please be aware that guaranteed on-campus accommodation is only available for International students in the Doctor of Medicine program.

Domestic students in the Doctor of Medicine will need to apply for accommodation at Flinders Living.

Worldwide placement opportunities

Electives and placements can be undertaken almost anywhere in the world. You can put theory into practice in metropolitan Adelaide, rural South Australia, remote communities in the Northern Territory, or international locations such as China, India, Philippines, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Germany, Canada, the US and UK.

External Student Elective program

Partnering with the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN), Flinders University offers an External Student Elective program for external medical students to undertake 6 week (max) placements in the diciplines of Medicine, Surgery, Psychiatry, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Rehabilitation.
