For many students, the loss of employment and support from family in 2020 has left them in desperate circumstances. We know they will go on feeling the economic impacts of COVID through far fewer employment opportunities, for a long time to come.
This year, we have seen medical professionals, researchers and communities work collectively like never before to overcome a threat of breathtaking magnitude. Our researchers are helping to alleviate some of the worst impacts of COVID, in care, medicine and mental health.
We’ve also seen our vibrant arts industry at its most vulnerable. Our very own FUMA (Flinders University Museum of Art) has been thinking creatively how to grow opportunities for artists and reach new audiences.
