As Cassamarca Senior Lecturer in Italian I teach and have taught Italian language and culture at all levels. My expertise is in the areas of Italian theatre and cinema (I worked for the Cecchi Gori Group in Rome and on a number of documentary/movie projects while in Scotland), 20th century studies, translation and interpreting (with over 30 years of professional experience).
I also have a great interest in innovative teaching and learning practices with a particular focus on distance and blended learning.
