I am a Research Associate in Psychology in the College of Human Sciences and Culture. My research focuses primarily on early intervention and prevention for eating disorders. I am particularly interested in digital interventions and the role of social media in disordered eating behaviours. My PhD investigated the use of a single-session intervention (Metacognitive Training) for reducing disordered eating symptomatology. I am currently working on digital interventions to reduce transdiagnostic risk factors for eating disorder development, as well as reducing problematic engagement with and endorsement of dietary misinformation. My research incorporates a range of qualitative and quantitative approaches with a particular emphasis on the need to incorporate lived-experience and user perspectives through co-design.

As a practicing psychologist, with experience working with people across the lifespan with a range of mental health challenges I am also highly invested in improving clinical practice and access to psychological services. In line with this, I am also the topic coordinator of PSYC3003 Introduction to Clinical Psychology.
