Sean Goldfinch is a dedicated educator and practitioner with a broad expertise in computer-generated imagery (CGI), animation, game development, and 2D media. A graduate of Flinders University with First Class Honours in the VEED (Visual Effects and Entertainment Design) stream, Sean brings both academic excellence and industry insight to his teaching practice.

As a Topic Coordinator within the VEED program and an active educator in the SCME (Screen and Creative Media Education) stream, Sean is committed to fostering student development in emerging creative technologies. He has been teaching at Flinders for nearly three years, following his completion of a Diploma in Digital Media and subsequent Bachelors and Honours degree in Visual Effects.

Alongside his academic role, Sean maintains a strong professional presence as a freelance visual effects (VFX) artist. His industry experience includes work in commercial and feature film projects, with a focus on Unreal Engine, matte painting, and compositing.

Sean’s teaching is informed by both practical experience and a passion for empowering the next generation of digital artists and storytellers.
