I am the topic co-ordinator for WMST2016/8013 and the course co-ordinator for the Masters of Women's and Gender Studies (MAWGS). In the past I have taught in different disciplines including sociology, government and film. I am passionate about teaching critical theory and bring this passion to the many different subjects that I teach. Whether it is feminism, post structuralism, postcolonialism, decolonial theory, critical disability studies and/or theories of the Anthropocene, I bring a nuanced knowledge of theory to my teaching practices such as formulating syllabi and creating a respectful and inclusive classroom space. I love making difficult theoretical concepts accessible to students and sharing the joy of reading and thinking about these ways of interpreting the world we live in.
