Xing is an accomplished Research Partnership Development Director with a proven track record of establishing successful research partnerships in health nationally. He led the establishment of one of the largest health services research centres in Queensland, which has yielded innovative health service solutions in collaboration with communities, researchers, clinicians, and government. This involved overseeing a diverse range of research portfolios in sectors such as aged care, ageing, dementia, palliative care, cancer care, acute care, social work, psychology, law, and education. 

Drawing on his experience collaborating with health service executives across several states, Xing is adept at transforming research insights into policies and practices that truly make a difference. He specialises in building researcher capacity and developing robust research income pipelines, while also ensuring sustainable research growth, industry engagement, managing tertiary sector research governance, and overseeing capital works projects. 

Currently, Xing holds the position of Research Partnership Development Director at the Caring Futures Institute, Flinders University, where he continues to drive impactful research in health that enhances health outcomes and quality of care for Australians.
