Facilitation Planning Tool to Accompany the i-PARIHS (integrated-Promoting Action on Research Implementation in Health Services) Framework

The Mi-PARIHS ‘Facilitation Planning Tool’ has been developed as a practical and pragmatic resource to help you think through and plan your facilitation approach using the i-PARIHS framework.

This is designed to provide you and your team with explicit direction and guidance to help you to work through the i-PARIHS phases of innovation, recipients, and context, to identify the key barriers and enablers. Using the identified key barriers and enablers, develop a facilitation plan to implement the innovation that is tailored to the recipients and context.

Mi-PARIHS will assist you in:

  • understanding what needs clarifying
  • assessing the implementation context
  • evaluating action and implementation
  • providing a visual resource to review and share
