FINDING A WAY
Submit to the exhibition and share your experiences
Would you like to share your experiences of physical activity during COVID-19? As part of the “Physical activity during a pandemic” project we are inviting members of the Flinders University community to submit your own photos and experiences and be part of the project and online exhibition. This project uses Photovoice as an exploration of physical activity during the pandemic, where participants photograph and reflect on their experiences. The project is supported by Flinders University, College of Medicine and Public Health.
Participation in the project
Participation in the project involves submitting your photo and a short commentary about how the photo represents your experiences of physical activity during the pandemic. Your photo will be used, with your permission, in the online exhibition - you can choose to participate anonymously or have your name on your photo.
Your commentary will form part of the analysis of the experience of physical activity during COVID-19. Any identifying information will be removed from the analysis of the commentary, and your comments will not be linked directly to you. All information and results obtained in this study will be stored in a secure way, with access restricted to relevant researchers.
The researchers anticipate no risks from your involvement in this study. If any emotional discomfort is experienced you can access free mental health services through Lifeline by calling them on 13 11 14 or chatting online via www.lifelineadelaide.org, or through beyondblue Support Service by calling them on 1300 22 4636 or chatting online via www.beyondblue.org.au. If you have any concerns regarding anticipated or actual risks or discomforts, please raise them with the researcher.
Your participation in this study is entirely voluntary and you are free to withdraw from the study at any time. You can contact the researchers if you would like to be provided with feedback on the outcomes of the study.
Complete and submit the form below if you would like to participate in the project and upload a photo and your commentary.
