Dr Kathina Ali is Research Fellow from Flinders University’s Institute for Mental Health and Wellbeing. She is also a registered psychologist and Research Associate at SAHMRI. Kathina completed her PhD in Clinical Psycholigy at the Australian National University in 2020 investigating the barriers to seeking help and online peer-to-peer support for eating disorders. She is a core member of the Be Well Lab, a collaboration between Flinders and SAHMRI that conducts translational research into wellbeing and mental health. Kathina has attracted national and international grant funding to support her research and has published widely high impact journals.
