This online toolkit has been designed to support teaching and learning with and through Flinders University Museum of Art (FUMA). It draws on object-based learning (OBL) strategies to promote cross-disciplinary engagements with FUMA’s art collections.
The toolkit aims to help academic staff in the design, planning and organisation of learning activities structured around artworks, and it provides guidance on how to access and think about art for curriculum innovation and renewal.
If you are interested in working with FUMA’s collections to enrich curricula and expand your pedagogical practice, start by exploring the toolkit and then submit an OBL expression of interest form.
Please note: Access to our case studies is currently limited to Flinders students, staff and affiliated researchers.
Please don't hesistate to contact FUMA if you require any assistance with using the OBL toolkit, or would like to submit a case study.
