Dr Abdul Khan is an associate lecturer in business at the College of Business, Government, and Law. Abdul has dedicated the past 14 years to developing and teaching a diverse array of Management topics, adeptly navigating both online and face-to-face formats. His expertise spans an extensive range, encompassing Supply Chains Management, Managing Diversity, Human Resource Management, Leadership and Organizational Change, Compensation Structure Development, Job Analysis Performance Evaluation and Appraisals, Decision Making, Organizational Behaviour, Organization Health and Safety, International Business, Training and Development, Strategic Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Planning for New Ventures, and E-Business. Recognized for his excellence, Abdul has been honoured with teaching awards in 2008, 2009, and 2010.

Abdul's commitment to effective teaching is marked by a student-centred approach, where he consistently solicits and integrates informal feedback from his students. This ongoing dialogue enables him to tailor his teaching methods to optimize learning outcomes. Leveraging tools such as On-Task and learning analytics, Abdul continuously refines his delivery to enhance student engagement and effectiveness.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Abdul's tenure as a Senior Human Resources saw him spearheading the HR division of a large supply chain management firm operating across seven continents. In this capacity, Abdul served as a trusted business partner to Line Managers, offering invaluable guidance, coaching, and overseeing the development and implementation of project-specific policies.

As a course coordinator and a lecturer Abdul has planned and taught various postgraduate and undergraduate subjects at Flinders university including Managing Diversity, Managing Sustainable Resources, Human Resource Strategy and Change Management, Creating Resilient Supply Chain and Procurements, Procurement and Managing Supply Chain, Occupational Health and Safety, Managing People and Organisation, and Managing Negotiations. Prior to joining Flinders university, Abdul was an online course facilitator at University of South Australia, School of Management
