Abigail Waller

I am an Associate Lecturer (Teaching Specialist) with a strong background in clinical nursing practice and a commitment to excellence in nurse education. My clinical experience is in the intensive care setting, where I have developed advanced skills in patient-centred care, critical thinking and evidence-based decision-making. This foundation underpins my teaching and ensures that I bring contemporary, practice-informed perspectives into the learning environment.

In my educational role, I am dedicated to fostering inclusive, engaging and clinically relevant learning experiences for nursing students. I have extensive experience in curriculum delivery, assessment moderation and the support of students’ academic and professional development. I am particularly committed to maintaining rigorous academic standards and promoting clinical reasoning, ensuring graduates are well prepared for the complexities of modern healthcare.
