Teaching interests

My teaching philosophy is to create an active, experimental and comfortable learning environment, in which students can discover the beauty of pure mathematics and appreciate the broad applications of mathematics in every discipline. I always use various examples in engineering, health sciences and finance to illustrate how mathematics is fundamental to their careers.

I am interested in the teaching approaches and the curriculum and assessment designs, which help improve students' mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills.

My teaching expertise lies in calculus, differential equations, analysis and applied mathematics.
